A useful first message describes what you want to build or solve, what already exists if this is an extension or integration, a rough timeline, and how you see the engagement working — fixed scope, milestone-based, ongoing support, or a longer collaboration. If there is an existing codebase, a brief description of the stack and its current state saves several rounds of questions.
I read every message and reply when the project is a realistic fit. I work independently on well-defined technical problems and value direct communication over long procurement processes.
